Didn't post anything yesterday as it wasn't a "Kramer" day; however, it was a good day as Mike (our handyman)spent most of the day here making repairs on the outside of the house. Our biggest concern was a hole that the squirrels had chewed on the corner eave below the roof. We were afraid that they would soon be making a nest (& babies) in the attic if the hole wasn't repaired quickly. That's taken care of now as well as several patches where some of the boards had begun to rot. The other "concern" that Mike took care of was the metal rain gutter on the side of the house's roof which had begun to fall away from it's place. Mike fixed it but had to use a 40', heaviest ladder in the world which actually took Garrett & Ryan(mostly Gare)helping Mike to move and finally load in his trailer. Mike thought his helper would be with him, but he didn't show so Frank had to call Gare to come in the morning before work(bribed him with b'fast) & again at lunchtime. He also fixed our warped utility room door. We then discussed future projects such as moving the water heater and updating the washer/dryer area and refinishing the front door entry way. A good day ending with dinner at G'mas and good tv night (altho' disappointed with Modern Family being a rerun).
