This is crazy! I've never had a cold or even the flu wipe me out like whatever this crud is. I think I will be better the next day & "the next day" has come & gone a couple of times and I still feel bad. It's especially terrible in the mornings; that's when I feel like my inner ear is swimming in the deep end of the pool. It takes until close to 11:00am
before the "swimmy" feeling leaves my head (for the most part). That's when I foolishly think: "Tomorrow, I'll feel good enough to go to the barn and have some long overdue Kramer time." So far it hasn't worked out that way. It's been since last Friday that I rode. This is killing me. I have the Athens show looming ahead and I wanted to have logged a lot of hours in the saddle. I feel the pressure of falling behind schedule. I think that my confidence is directly affected by my preparedness when it comes to most things in my life but especially horse shows.
However, I am the eternal optimist and will again believe that tomorrow, I'll feel good enough to go to the barn and have some long overdue Kramer time!
