Catching up!

Had a great visit with Allie from last Thursday thru Sunday.  Got in a lot of riding on Kramer at BREC in Baton Rouge.  Allie was off work on Thursday and met us as we drove in; that helped in getting everything set up.  Kramer seemed to have enjoyed his stay in the "Horse Hotel".  I had some good rides under Allie's guidance and with each ride, I learn more about what Kramer needs from me as far as how to "set him up" correctly to perform good transitions, take the correct lead, use his hind-end more, etc.  I'm not sure why when I added the last picture, that it didn't appear below the previous script.  I'm still experimenting with this "blog thing"!  Anyway, that was the morning we took little "J" out to the barn for some fun times. 
I wish we would've taken pictures of Allie & my exteme cheering of the LSU/Alabama game.  It was a stressful game with the best outcome ever for us!  LSU wins 9-6 in OT.  We would've had drinks afterwards to celebrate but our stomachs were too nervous from the game!
