After our successful Mayo visit it was on to happier and more fun times. We headed south past Sarasota to Bradenten. A little finger of a beach area split away from FL's Gulf coast side. It's a very pretty area & I can see why my cousin would shoose this place to have her wedding. Her wedding! She's 50+ and this is her first marriage to.....drumroll, please....the love of her life. They met and were friends in highschool in Ohio where both Peggy (my cousin) and her now-husband Louis's families became close. Louis took Peggy to the highschool prom and then life got in the way. He moved to CO, eventually married and had two children, then divorced and Peggy moved to FL to a better teaching job. They reconnected via a social network site and "Voila"!, the rest is history.
It was so wonderful to see cousins and their families that I haven't seen in quite sometime. Mom, Dad, Aunt Peg and Uncle Bipp, Aunt Jackie just to name a few who had so much fun!
